JobShop Web
JobShopWeb is a web browser
based application for managing the workflow in a small machine shop.
This can help organize the record keeping that would be required for
ISO-9000 certification.

Main areas of JobShopWeb:
Beta version of this new software is available to try out.
This software is an executable program that includes a built-in web
server. This is how it works: You start up the executable program
and it automatically opens the default web browser and displays the
pages.
If you have multiple computers on a network at your shop, leave the
program running on one computer and it can be accessed by all the
computers on the network. Connect by using
"http://computername:5050/index.asp" for the URL address.
Have it running on only one computer, and everyone else connect to
it.
If you wanted, you could have JobShop Web running on the computer at
the shop and be able to access it at home through the internet.
The program uses ASP pages that are run by the built-in web server,
HTML template files to display the pages and Microsoft Access
databases to store the data.
The databases, HTML, css, and image files are modifiable. The ASP
pages are compiled and not visible so the cannot be changed. This
version cannot be used on a regular web server.
Includes PDF generator for output of formal documents and geometric
tolerancing font for inspection reports. You can even print
inspection equipment calibration labels if you have a Brother
PT-1950 label printer.
This is made for Windows Internet Explorer. Some features may not
work in other browsers. Make sure the database files in the
directory have modify permission.
While this product is in Beta version it is free to use for
everyone. No help file available yet. You can send an email if you
have a question.
