JobShop Web - Parts and Quotes

JobShop Web is a web browser based application for managing the workflow in a small machine shop. This can help organize the record keeping that would be required for ISO-9000 certification.

For a new job going through the shop, the first thing that needs to be done is entering the information about the part. We enter the part information once at the beginning so it can be used automatically later throughout the process.

Enter the data for this particular part.

Making a quotation can be optional, but at least we have the part data in the system.

Put in quote quantities. The system calculates all the costs and divides it up by the quantities. If you don't like the answer, you can manually enter a price and check the "Keep" box. That will bypass the calculation.

Also can set the general shop values that are different from the default.

We may never get an order for the quotation, but we will have the information in the system for future reference.
